The Lambley Historical Society Digital Archive Our collection of photographs from Lambley's past is growing rapidly and will soon be available on this website for browsers and researchers. The collection owes a great deal to the success of the 'Lambley in Focus' event in 2005 and the Lambley Refocussed event in 2006. At these events, over 300 images were obtained and it was clear that their were many more to be had. Appointments have still to be made for some private collections to be acquired. Do you have some photos or old documents that may be of interest? We can arrange to have your photos scanned in to the LHS Archive safely. The best way is for you to contact us and then we can arrange for you to bring your collection to us at one of our working group sessions and we will scan your pictures in while you wait. If more convenient, we can bring our scanning equipment to your home. Either way, the society would be very pleased to look at your collection and if scanned in to the LHS Archive you will know that a safe digital copy exists for the future. |
